Here at Martin Inc., we always strive to bring out the best in our employees. With
this goal in mind, we are pleased to announce the creation of a new employee
education program. All full-time employees who were hired before January 1st are
eligible to attend free classes offered by the company. Classes will meet every
Monday from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the meeting rooms on the 5th floor. Courses will run
for three months and topics will vary depending on employee participation and
availability of trainers. The first set of classes will start on February 12th and
interested parties should sign up by February 4th.
Classes offered this session:
Presentation Skills
Sales Director Emma Crawford gives tips on making your presentations effective and
memorable.
Time Management
Shipping Manager Michael Schrantz helps you prioritize tasks, organize your day,
and be more productive.
Language Training: Basic Chinese
Professor Ning Lin, from Baker Community College, offers an introductory course to
Mandarin Chinese.
Language Training: Intermediate Chinese*
For those already grounded in basic Mandarin, Professor Ning Lin helps you develop speaking skills in Mandarin Chinese.
*Note: This course will be taught Tuesdays from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
